How to know what Google Images keywords people are searching for in Analytics?
If the people came using regular search engine, you will see it in Traffic Sources -> Search Engines or Traffic Sources -> Keywords. But if he came from Google image search, he will not be tracked. He will be in Traffic Sources -> Referring Sites as images.google.com. Google analytics has a feature to add custom search engine, so now we will add it.

First of all we will need to add a custom line to tracking code given by google:

The line pageTracker._addOrganic(“images.google”, “prev”); adds google image search as additional search engine. The part “images.google” defines, search engine url. And “prev” - defines what part in referring URL is the keyword.

Secondly we will need to configure our Google analytics account.
Sign in to Google Analytics. On top left click “Analytics Settings”. Click “Edit” near your GA profile. Go down and in “Filters Applied to Profile” click “Add Filter”. Setup this filter:
google-analytics-filter

Click Finish and from the next day you will see additional search engine in your stats.
